I choose the point of entry, the depth of incision, and the duration of time it is left there, but ultimately the aftermath is left purely to chance as the soreness, and visual signs of it's acute pain spread onto a much larger surface then the original puncture. It still looks insignificant. I documented the sensation the duration the pin was in the skin tissue.
' A numb stabbing pain, that keeps redirecting my awareness back to it. The skin was penetrated deeper then the previous experiment on my hand and is a constant niggle, whether I am in conversation with someone, or try to take my attention away. It's presence is continuous, and although it looks painless, there is a red plateau forming around the epicentre. It's impact is showing, and although the action has been accomplished I feel like I am being pinched over and over again. It is repetitive in feeling, but each monumentalises itself, as I continue my day. '
